Oldest first | Newest firstPA needs to speak about drilling impacts holistically. Each article about impacts needs to begin with drilling but be inclusive of transporting the extracted fuel to the markets in NJ and NY. This includes clearings for access roads, gathering lines, transportation lines – all with impacts of deforestation, steep slope disturbance, permanent and temporary ROWs and easements, loss of agricultural soils and lands, watershed disturbances and personal property impact . Impact needs to be viewed holistically or we are minimizing the real picture and will be smacking our foreheads as we start all over again on these pieces of the puzzle. LKFARRELL@VERIZON.NET
