Continuing Education Credits

PALTA intends to seek continuing education credits for those seminars and workshops that are eligible. Courses for which we plan to offer credits will include the following abbreviations next to the course title (please note there is a fee for CLE and AP CE credits):
CLE Continuing Legal Credits $50.00 per person for unlimited PLCC courses. Must attend entire course, sign in and submit necessary paperwork (obtained from CE monitor and the end of course) to the PA CLE Board with the appropriate fee ($1.50 /credit).
CFE Continuing Forestry Education Credits No fee. Contact the Society of American Foresters to learn more or contact Michael Powell at mjp175@psu.edu or 814-863-1113. (one course available)
CM Certification Maintenance Program (American Planning Association/AICP) No Fee. Professional credit program approved by the American Planning Association (APA). Must attend entire course, sign in and register credits at www.planning.org/cm -- sessions under PA Land Conservation Conference. Contact Francine Davis at APA at 312-786-6703 with any questions.
AP CE Appraiser Continuing Education Credits $25.00 per person. Instructor will provide necessary forms and instructions. Those seeking credits must stay until 5:00. (one course available)
CEU Park/Recreational Professional Continuing Education Credits $10.00 for PRPS members
$20.00 for Non PRPS members
-- courses available for Park/Recreation Managers and Landscape Architects. Must attend entire courses, sign in and submit necessary paperwork (obtained from CE Monitor and the end of course) to PRPS. Visit www.prps.org to learn more.

To obtain credits, please be sure to check the credits you are interested in on the registration form and include the appropriate amount with your registration fee.
