North Branch Land Trust Naturalist Rick Koval will present an informative PowerPoint program on his best techniques used to locate resident and migratory owl species. Rick’s audience will learn the life history of owls, where to look for owls, and what to listen for.
Rick Koval is a Luzerne County resident who enjoys bringing awareness to the community of the natural beauty found in our region. Rick is a professional Naturalist and Land Protection Specialist for the North Branch Land Trust and a wildlife consultant for governmental agencies and the private sector. His area of work and hobby involves environmental education, wildlife photography, flora and fauna inventories and special species research that includes inserting tracking devices into timber rattlesnakes.
Rick is on a popular television program called Pennsylvania Outdoor Life as the show’s naturalist.
