Bill Sellers Honored with Conservation Leadership Award

The Pennsylvania Land Trust Association is pleased to honor H. William Sellers for his decades of leadership and dedication in conserving our special places and landscapes. For 23 years, Mr. Sellers directed the Brandywine Conservancy’s Environmental Management Center, during which time the Conservancy placed conservation easements on over 27,000 acres and established state-of-the-art consulting assistance programs.

Mr. Sellers has helped organize or reorganize over twenty land conservation and historic preservation groups. He was a founding board member of the Land Trust Alliance and initiated the discussion that ultimately led to the creation of the Pennsylvania Land Trust Association.
