AEF 765 Corridor
Status
AEP (American Electric Power) filed its request for corridor designation with DOE January 31, 2006.
Route
Putnam Co, WV to Frederick Co, MD to Middlesex Co. NJ.
The proposed route appears to affect the following PA counties:
- Berks
- Carbon
- Lebanon
- Lehigh
- Montgomery
- Schuylkill
- York
Additional Information
AEP did not file a map in its request to DOE. The corridor requested would cover the area for siting the proposed line from Amos-Doubs-Dean facilities.
No applications for a transmission line within this corridor have been filed yet although it is likely that such activity will take place this year as AEP and Allegheny Power have established a joing venture for the purpose of establishing a transmission line in this same geographic area.
