Delaware River Corridor

Status
PJM filed its request for corridor designations with DOE October 2006.

Route
Traverses PA from Ohio to NJ, affecting 44 counties in the Commonwealth along with 2 counties in WV, 4 OH counties and 11 NJ counties. PJM’s request is to designate NIETCs at the county level.  If approved, entire counties would be withint he national corridor. PA counties include:

Additional Information
Note that the Delaware River Path as filed in October 2006 is not the same as the Delaware River Corridor filed in March 2006. PJM’s earlier filing had shown two, not three corridors.  As a result, there are still materials in circulation that show a different path for the Delaware River Corridor, limited to the eastern portion of the state. The most up-to-date request in fact requests a Delaware River path that spans the entire breadth of the Commonwealth.
