Status
PJM filed its request for corridor designations with DOE in March 2006 and October 2006 filings.

Route
WV to southeastern PA, Del, and NJ

Affects 9 counties in PA from York to Bucks, all 3 counties in DE, 10 counties in NJ, 9 counties in VA, DC, and 17 counties in VA. PJM’s request is to designate NIETCs at the county level.  If approved, entire counties would be withint he national corridor.Counties in PA include:

  • Berks
  • Bucks
  • Chester
  • Delaware
  • Lancaster
  • Lehigh
  • Montgomery
  • Philadelphia
  • York

Additional Information
The mid-Atlantic Corridor was originally noted as Delaware River Path in PJM’s March 2006 filing.  The name mid-Atlantic Corridor is thus not reflected in the March filing although a corridor is noted in the same SE PA region.
