Allegheny Power has applied to the Pennsylvania Public Utilities Commission (PUC) for authorization to construct new transmission facilities.  Allegheny additionally requested eminent domain authority and exemption from municipal zoning in its application

In addition, Allegheny Power and AEP have created a joint venture for the purpose of building and owning this transmission line. [Learn More]
