The Lancaster County Conservancy recently announced the addition of 26 acres to its popular Tucquan Glen Nature Preserve in Martic Township. The Conservancy will keep the land open as a public nature preserve for recreation and habitat for native plant and animal species. With a third of a mile of healthy streams and riparian buffers, the land is important for water quality in Lancaster County and the Chesapeake Bay. The Conservancy is grateful to all the partners who work together on the Susquehanna Riverlands conservation landscape and is excited to begin stewarding the land for public enjoyment, habitat, and natural sustainability.
