Lancaster Farmland Trust recently announced that two new staff members have joined its team: land protection specialist Katie Yoder and land protection assistant Jordan Clymer.

Yoder is a graduate of Penn State with a degree in animal science. After graduation she worked for Farm Credit, then, most recently for a small appraisal firm in Lancaster County.
She grew up on a hog and beef farm in eastern Lancaster County. She and her husband reside in New Holland with their puppy Gus, adjacent to the farm where she grew up.

Clymer recently graduated from Paul Smith’s College with a degree in environmental science and a double minor in GIS and chemistry. He grew up in eastern Lancaster County, where he currently resides with his pet potbelly pig named Bacon.
