Pruning shrubs is an essential practice for a well-maintained landscape. While proper pruning is important, it is not difficult if you understand the basics. This class teaches the principles of why, when, and how to prune a variety of shrubs and hedges. A morning lecture and demonstration will be followed by an afternoon session of supervised, hands-on pruning. Please bring your pruning tools and dress appropriately for the weather. This event is presented by Morris Arboretum.
