“Unless we practice conservation, those who come after us will have to pay the price of misery, degradation and failure for the progress and prosperity of our day.” –Gifford Pinchot
Inclusion in the Gifford Pinchot Society acknowledges the generosity of donors who contribute $1,000 and more annually to PALTA. It is named for the Pennsylvania governor who launched the American conservation movement.
Donors contributing $1,000 and more annually have a tremendous impact on PALTA’s organizational capacity. These gifts enable staff to continue the endless work of conservation at the state level by providing direct support to Pennsylvania’s 75 member land trusts, advocacy, and education.
Gifford Pinchot Society Members receive opportunities to make a statewide difference, invitations to special member events, annual newsletters, and important legislative updates.
